Bank Holiday

by JimmyL @ 04/05/2008 - 06:46:19

Well. Working all weekend. There's a show local to my works, called the Tees Valley home and garden show, which, my works, have set up a little stand, so we can show people who we are.

There's an estimated 15,000 people due over the course of 3 days.

I missed yesterday, as I was at work (office bound) playing catch up on 6 movies. 3 from Wednesday, 1 Thursday and 2 Friday. I started about half nine, and got finised at 4. So I didn't do too badly I suppose.

I'll still be playing catch up on Tuesday, as I've got floorplans to create and Google maps to sort out!

I did, however, get a little connection for my PC. A PSX to PC convertor. Essentially a playstation controller connects through a little box, which is USB powered.

Playing GTA, Vice City, with it, instead of keyboard and mouse is a hoot!
Damn sight better.

I'm going to have to put a diary note somewhere to do a blog each week or so. The last time I logged in here was a month ago!!! lol!

Laters!

Monday mourning

by JimmyL @ 31/03/2008 - 07:10:50

:**:

Well, if that was the weekend, I'd love to know where it's gone to!

Probably me spending a few hours on the PS2 (GT3 and Prince of Persia got a few hours of play!)

No sooner does friday finish, Monday starts. But, beginning of a new week, new trials, new adventures....

I've truly given up on Yahoo, it's sooo slow.. Or is that just me being impatient?

I'm hoping to keep some form of record going of my life, on a weekly basis (I hope) there just seems so many things and not enough time to do them in!

In my current job, I'm out the office quite regularly, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and usually on a Saturday morning, doing photos, filming and floorplans of peoples houses, that go on sale.

I love the job, There's always something different to see. On Saturday, I was up near Borobridge. It's was a gorgeous day, and the pictures and movie came out just right. See the movie

I really want to take this media thing further, but times are a bit tight cash wise at the moment, so I'm hoping, in the near future I can pursue it further. But I don't want to be the obligatory man with a camera at a party or wedding, I want to take it in a different direction, and keep with the houses or businesses. Easier to capture I suppose....
